Started my Bachelor of Property at CQU this year. It's been good so far.

Didn't always know I wanted to study property. Took a while to figure out, but what drew me in was the combination of analytical thinking and practical application. Plus, the potential to actually help people make one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

CQU stood out for the practical focus. Less theory for theory's sake, more real-world application. Industry connections are strong, and the class sizes mean you actually get to know your professors.

The coursework has been more interesting than I expected. Property law, valuation principles, market analysis - it's not just numbers. There's a lot of judgment involved, understanding market psychology, recognizing what drives decisions beyond just the data.

Research skills are developing. Learning to find reliable sources, analyze trends critically, present findings clearly. It's one thing to read about it; another to actually do it.

Challenges exist. University-level work is no joke. Multiple assignments, tight deadlines, learning to manage it all. But that's part of it. You figure out what works and what doesn't.

Most unexpected benefit has been the networking. Guest lectures from industry professionals, building relationships with classmates who are actually serious about this stuff, attending property events. Learning from professors with real industry experience makes a difference.

Looking forward to diving deeper into market analysis and potentially some research opportunities. Each semester builds on the last. The journey continues.
