Home for Christmas. It's good being back.
Family doesn't care about my grades or my research project. They just care that I'm here. There's something grounding about that - being valued for who you are, not what you achieve.
Made breakfast with Dad this morning. Talked about nothing important. These simple moments matter more than I usually acknowledge.
Grateful for good health, the chance to study something I find interesting, and a home to come back to. Not everyone has these things. I don't take them for granted.
